Quick Answer
MW4 DMZ missions come in two kinds: Orders, which are page-based objectives you manage at the FOB's Orders station, and Story Missions, which are dedicated operations you launch through Deploy → Story Missions. Finish every Order on your current page and exfil successfully, and a Caller gives you the next page.
What are the MW4 DMZ missions?
Orders carry the narrative intel and the step-by-step objectives; Story Missions are the chapter-ending operations with their own briefings, recommended equipment and rewards. A Story Mission can also advance your current Orders, so you can work on both in one deployment. The full chapter routes and rewards are on the MW4 DMZ story missions and Orders page.
Which missions come first, and in what order?
Start with onboarding, then the first Orders page: Gear Up → Crack Shot → First OP. After that, pick a chapter when the selection screen opens. Underground ends with Shopping Hacks, Counterfeit with Silent Ledger, and Human Intel with Critical Extraction.
| Chapter | Orders pages | Chapter-ending operation |
|---|---|---|
| Underground | Eye in the Sky → Watch for Bumps → Triangulation; then Dead Battery → Death From Above → Operation Shopping Hacks | Shopping Hacks |
| Counterfeit | Hostile Force → Robbery → Execute Intel; then Eyes Everywhere → Operation Silent Ledger | Silent Ledger |
| Human Intel | Hunter → Triage Protocol → No One Left | Critical Extraction |
Where is the guide for each mission?
These Orders and operations have their own guides:
- Triangulation: radio towers and the La Grande Vie rooftop.
- Hunter: the Hunt Lieutenant Tower terminal.
- Hostile Force: finding a blue police station.
- Robbery: where to find and open a safe.
- Silent Ledger: the Counting Room Vault route, which separates the basement vault from the main-floor one.
- Iron Citadel: the armory keypad inside the Chang-san Air Base bunker.
What do missions reward?
Orders rewards belong to the whole page, not to each Order: recipes, DMZ Cash and items such as the Recon Drone Recipe or an Operator Rescue Beacon. Story Missions list their own cash plus equipment, keys or deployment rewards. Check the story missions page for the per-page rewards before choosing which chapter to start first.
