Quick Answer

Players report Roze on the DBN headquarters rooftop in the Grid, where her sniper rifle can kill you in one hit. To hunt Roze in MW4 DMZ, complete the Underground DMZ Orders Chapter, then buy her intel for 25000 DMZ Cash at the Boss Board. Approach the fight around that sniper threat, then head for exfil as soon as you collect her Dog Tag Case.

Where Is Roze in MW4 DMZ?

Players place Roze at the very top of DBN headquarters, a building inside the Grid. Treat the rooftop as your destination when planning your route through the MW4 DMZ Hajin map.

Roze is a Lieutenant, so you can target her through the Boss Board's Lieutenant intel system.

Roze is one of the Lieutenants you can hunt in DMZ.

How Do You Unlock Roze's Boss Intel?

Complete the Underground DMZ Orders Chapter to access Roze's intel, then purchase it at the Boss Board before deploying.

  1. Complete your second DMZ Order to unlock the Boss Board itself.
  2. Finish the Underground chapter to access Roze's specific intel. Follow the MW4 DMZ story missions and orders as you progress.
  3. Visit the Boss Board underneath the covered area at your base and pay 25000 DMZ Cash for her intel.
  4. Deploy and follow the marker for your selected target. Purchased Lieutenant intel lasts for one deployment.

Opening the Boss Board and unlocking Roze's intel are separate milestones. Completing your second Order opens the station; Underground gives you access to her intel.

A Lieutenant Hunt tower offers another way to locate a target: activate the Upload Station at the top to mark the closest Lieutenant. That target can be someone other than Roze, so buy her specific intel when she is your goal. The MW4 DMZ Hunt Lieutenant tower page covers that tracking route.

How Do You Beat Roze Without Taking a Sniper Hit?

Build your approach around avoiding her sniper fire: players report that a hit from Roze can kill you outright.

  1. Study the area before making contact. Lieutenants have increased durability and can have troops nearby, so check the surroundings before committing to the rooftop fight.
  2. Avoid exposing yourself just to keep dealing damage. With a reported lethal sniper hit, squeezing in another shot is a poor trade if it gives her a clear shot back.
  3. After the kill, collect the Dog Tag Case if you want Boss Board progress, then move straight toward exfil. Picking it up broadcasts your position to rival squads.

What Does Roze Drop, and Should You Take Her Dog Tags?

Players report Roze dropping the Kraken legendary sniper blueprint and dog tags; Lieutenants always drop a Dog Tag Case, while their iconic weapon is a rare drop.

Treat Kraken as a reward to look for after the kill, rather than a guaranteed payout on every hunt. Lieutenants can also drop a key to their personal locked location.

Take the Dog Tag Case for Boss Board Progress

Extract with the case to progress the Boss Board. This is the recommended choice when you are hunting Roze for that progression, but commit to leaving once you pick it up: your position is broadcast to other Operators.

Leave the Dog Tag Case to Avoid Carrying the Broadcast

The kill still awards DMZ XP and DMZ Cash if you leave the case. The dropped tag remains visible on the Tac Map, so staying around the loot still carries risk. You give up the case extraction needed for Boss Board progress.

Once you extract with the case, you have turned the kill into Boss Board progress. Back at base, choose your next target through the MW4 DMZ bosses page.
