Quick Answer

Keep 5 Ballistic Flight Logs for your FOB upgrades and sell any extras at the FOB for $1,000 each. They're tagged as a valuable, but that doesn't mean they're junk to sell: across all FOB upgrades you need 5 of them. One reliable place to pick them up is the Penthouse Security office counter at Heavenly Luck Casino during Operation Silent Ledger.

How Much Are Ballistic Flight Logs Worth in MW4 DMZ?

Ballistic Flight Logs sell for $1,000 at the FOB. They're an Uncommon data item, and like every valuable, the cash only counts once you extract: the After Action Report adds it to your Bank.

At $1,000 they're a decent pickup for the slot early on, but not worth risking a fight over.

Which FOB Upgrades Need Ballistic Flight Logs?

FOB upgrades use them, at least 5 in total across all upgrades, mostly in the later levels of the upgrade that cuts the cost of rescuing an operator who goes MIA. Check your Upgrades tab at the FOB for the tier you're working on.

They sit in the same group as the other documents upgrades ask for: you also need 5 each of Infantry Invasion Plans, W.M.D Manifest, Foreign Intelligence Targets and Sanctioned Assassination List.

They're not a 3D Printer Ingredient. A pre-release listing on October 15, 2026 filed them under both Ingredient and valuable; the October 20, 2026 item description lists selling and FOB upgrades, and players find them as an Uncommon valuable. There's nothing to craft with them.

Should You Keep or Sell Ballistic Flight Logs?

Keep your first 5, then sell the rest. The item's valuable tag tells you it can be sold, which is exactly how players end up short when they open the Upgrades tab.

  1. Stash every Ballistic Flight Log until you have 5.
  2. Check the upgrade you're saving for at the FOB.
  3. Sell anything above 5 for $1,000 each.

Where Can You Find Ballistic Flight Logs in MW4 DMZ?

Check the counter in the Penthouse Security office at Heavenly Luck Casino in Cheongun Village, Hajin, while you run Operation Silent Ledger. It's a good place to look, not a guaranteed spawn.

  1. Head to Heavenly Luck Casino. It's in Cheongun Village, and Operation Silent Ledger already takes you through it. Keep the Hajin map handy to find it.
  2. Turn on the power. Start the generator in the parking garage. The objective switches to Go to Penthouse Security.
  3. Go back through the parking lobby. Find the lobby with the ATMs and follow the marker upstairs to the security office.
  4. Check the counter before you leave security. That's the spot where the logs were found.

Inside Penthouse Security, the CCTV desk has Security Station - Parking Levels, which opens the parking camera feeds for the vault fence objective. The counter is your loot stop; the cameras move the mission along.

Ballistic Flight Logs aren't the printing plates you extract in Operation Silent Ledger. For the mission itself, see story missions and orders.

Once the logs are sorted, head back to loot and items for the next thing in your bag.
