Quick Answer

Lost Supply Drops sit on 10 fixed spots across Hajin, grid squares B6, C7, D4, E7, E8, F4, F5, F6, H5 and I6, under red smoke and an orange parachute. Not every spot has a drop every match, so route past several. The two easiest to start with are the northeastern island (I6) and the front of General Hospital (F5), where the crate hangs and needs a frag grenade to knock it down.

Where Are the Lost Supply Drop Locations in MW4 DMZ?

Lost Supply Drops land on 10 fixed spots. These are every known one:

GridWhere to look
B6South of Chang-san Air Base
C7Under the Hajin River bridge
D4Grid D4
E7Grid E7
E8Grid E8
F4Northwest of Heavenly Luck Casino
F5Front of Mirae General Hospital, hanging
F6Mujin Pass
H5Compound Delta woods
I6Oamsik Turtle Islands, the small northeastern island

Pull up the Hajin map to plan a loop, and start with the two you can reach fastest from your infil.

Check the northeastern island hillside (I6)

Head to the small island at the map's far northeastern end. Look for red smoke on the side of a hill, then move down to the package.

Red smoke marks the package on the northeastern island's hillside.

Look up at the front of General Hospital (F5)

At General Hospital, the package hangs at the front of the building. Bring a frag grenade so you can knock it free instead of trying to climb to it.

Expect plenty of guards here, and other players come through too. Clear the immediate threats before you line up the throw.

Sweep the other spots on your way

Work through the grid squares in the table on your route. B6 and C7 have held a drop more than once, so they're good bets when the closer spots are empty.

Does Every Lost Supply Drop Spot Spawn a Drop Every Match?

No. The 10 spots are fixed, but not every one has a crate in every match. Don't fly to one spot and give up: plan a route past three or four of them so an empty spot only costs you a detour.

How Do You Spot a Lost Supply Drop?

Look for red smoke and an orange parachute. Get close and a Secure Lost Supply Drop side op pops up and marks the crate for you, and the drop can also show on your minimap.

The nearby-package prompt on the left of your screen only shows up sometimes. Keep scanning for the smoke and parachute instead of waiting for it.

Some crates hang in trees or off buildings like the one at the hospital, and you have to bring them down before you can loot them.

A quick way to cover ground: grab a light helicopter in the match, mark your next spot and watch for the drop's signal as you fly in. Run free equipment so a bad landing doesn't cost you much. On a longer trip, land on a gas station roof to repair and refuel; ground stations and stations on piers work too.

How Do You Collect MW4 DMZ Lost Supply Drops?

Reach the crate, bring it down if it's hanging, and open it. Opening it advances your objective and gives you the loot.

Free the hanging hospital package

Cook a frag grenade and throw it so it goes off next to the hanging package. The blast knocks the crate down to the ground where you can reach it.

Open the package and check your progress

Interact with the crate to open it. It splits into three pieces and your objective counter goes up. Loot what's inside.

Open the drop as soon as you reach it. Reinforcements can show up afterward, and hanging around the crate turns a quick grab into a fight.

Which DMZ Order Needs Lost Supply Drops?

Crashed Crate on DMZ Orders page 10: retrieve 3 Lost Supply Drops and finish a Loot Radio Tower side op. Page 10 pays a Large Backpack, a Basic Triage Kit and 20,000 DMZ Cash.

Only Lost Supply Drops count. A Dynamic Op calls in its own Supply Drop when you finish it, and capturing a SAM, shooting down a regular supply drop or grabbing a mission reward drop won't move this counter either. Check your DMZ mission objective before you chase another crate.

Once you've emptied the crates, look up what you picked up in Loot & Items.
